so: summer is coming, and with it we are expecting two new releases. we’re really proud to announce them, as both bands are long time friends of us, so please be kind with them and check their efforts out, we definitely appreciate all their hard work and awesome music.

let’s start with RIVIERA from Forlì, Italy. After listening to their very good demo, we couldn’t be more glad to be part of releasing this four songs 7″, which is their first actual release. They’re young, and collect influences from the mid-nineties emo scene, without falling in line with the clichés and the later emo/screamo wave we all got used and bored by. Their simplicity and sincerity, mixed with short, emotive messages sung in italian, a good guitar patchwork and the trumpet features, easily remind us of CONSTANTINE SANKATHI, even if their overall sound is way more mellow and soft. check them out here.

then, one of Italy’s best kept secrets. DISQUIETED BY hails from the outskirts of Firenze, and have been active since almost eight years. after a raw, poorly recorded and totally different sounding demo, they managed to craft a very personal sound, moving away from their hardcore roots and simply moving toward a classic, rock & roll sound. fast, catchy tunes are combined with yelled vocals with strongly ironic messages. at first listen, the names THE BRONX, BRAINWORMS and THE STROKES easily pop out, but just after seeing them live you’ll be able to understand how disquieted by gained the attention of the whole peninsula, creating a cult around their name.

this is their second record, after a promising and almost unknown self titled 7″ released in 2005 (you can listen it here), and we couldn’t be more happy about being part of this, along with our long time friend label Tolose Latrack.

both records will be out in late may/early june, keep checking this page for more infos and news, that will be released in a (hopefully) very short time.

ugh. we didn’t notice that some of the download codes included in the new ANCIENT SKY record were misprinted, so some of them will have a wrong link on them. to correctly redeem your code, check the releases section and go to the right link. we are really sorry for this.

our mates ANCIENT SKY’s sophomore new album, T.R.I.P.S. is out since a month now, thanks to all the nice people that ordered and enjoyed this album. we’re so stoked and still enthusiastic to have been involved in its release. and as days pass by, a lil’ stack of good words has been written about it. here you can find some:

in other news, we just had couple of restocks and new arrivals in our mailorder, so the LP and 10″ lists are now updated. go check it out! new releases are getting planned as new bands are getting in the family, and ol’ friends bands are writing new material which is probably going to be released by us. but this is completely another story, and it’s too early to talk about it.

even if this work took me forever, now the mailorder section is back online. ok, it’s not fully operative, but at least it’s partially completed and stuffed with a massive amount of new and amazing items. right now, the only complete section is the LP, as you can see i’ve started compiling the other sections too, but this will require some additional time. thanks for your infinite patience!

hello everybody.
after a long, long, long silence, we’re back. if you were wondering what happened, well.. our website needed an accurate reconstruction to keep up with the times and be as actual and modern as possible, if possible, when possible. we’ve asked our good pal daniele to help us and he did a magnificent work on this. we’re super stoked on how he designed a brand new website for us, and we strongly suggest you to get in touch with him if you need one too!
the mailorder section is still down, since it’s a huge work which requires a huge amount of time, time that most of the times we don’t have. it will contain something like 2000 titles and i’m struggling to put ‘em all up.. it’s boring, it’s slow, it’s annoying, but it’s also the only way we can gather some cash to pay the new releases we are planning, so…

speaking of new records in line, we are psyched to announce that the release date  of the new and magnificent ANCIENT SKY full lenght, T.R.I.P.S., is january 27th. you can check some infos about it in the releases page, and check the songs on their bandcamp page. we’re also 100% out of RAEIN‘s ogni nuovo inizio 12″, so a repress has been planned for early spring. more stuff to come and more to announce, stay tuned.

last but not least, we are also thrilled to present you the seventh edition of our SONS OF VESTA FEST, which will happen on january 27th and 28th, in our hometown arezzo, in a nice venue called karemaski multi-art lab. check the line up here. expect two outrageous nights of music, ten bands and three djs from all around italy and, most important thing, some serious situations happening. see you there and let’s have fun all together!

hello fellas, as you’ve noticed TIDELAND are about to embark in an european tour in a few days. sadly, this time has been hard as hell and as you can notice there are a lot of gaps in may, so if any of you is interested, please get in touch and let’s try to fix this situation. however, the tour will turn out fine, the band is simply awesome and you’ll not be deloused, i guarantee!

in the meanwhile, we are receiving a lot of amazing records over here, so many that i need a little time (oh no, again!) to update the distro page. don’t worry, hopefully this won’t take me 2 years (yeah, hopefully). on the other hand, we’re starting to plan a few new releases for late 2011 and early 2012, one of which will be the new ANCIENT SKY 12″, the long awaited CD version of the MAGDALENE 12″ and some more that we’ll announce later on this summer..

both the raein collection cd and the gods and queens records are finally out! all the preorders have been sent out, and everything is taking shape again. we’re currently adding a lot of items to the distro list, i will update it again in a few.. expect a ton of gems and beautiful records to please your ears with!

in other news, tideland will tour europe in may, i’m personally taking care of their first european tour, so i’ll write more infos asap about the tourdates and details. if you are interested on setting up a show for them, please get in touch.

no releases are currently planned ’till fall, we have some sweet plans in our drawers that we’re not really ready to announce yet, so keep on following us here on our so-called social networks for more infos!

ok it’s not a joke at all. i’ve finally managed to update the whole distro page. sounds crazy, but believe me, it’s true. since december 2009 this list has remained untouched, until now. it’s some kind of a big big thing to be proud of. i mean, i’m feeling like a successful guy that finally made it. thanks. to celebrate this, a lot of prices has been lowered down (AGAIN!), a shit-ton of titles has been added and, surprise surprise, we’re about to officially present the gods and queens untitled III 7″ in milano, on feb. 17th. in the meanwhile, if you want, you can preorder it writing an email to us. it will be kindly welcomed.

awful. no updates. no news. nothing. actually this website is kinda useless, but sometimes i do remember about having it. so: the gods and queens 7″ is currently being pressed. we are crossing our fingers to have it ready for their 15-days tour in europe (do yourself a favor, check the tour dates on the homepage and go to see them playing. really). since we’ve never been lucky with deadlines, we’re a bit desperate on this aspect, but anyway, we still hope. hope is the first step to disappointment.

what else, the raein collection that was supposed to be released before the end of the year, yeah as you’ve noticed we’re late on that too. and no, the distro page is not updated and no, i don’t really know when it will be. it’s a frustrating work. i promised news and changes, after something like one year this is still the same. but i assure you, we’re working hard to please you all with something really new. give us some more time please, i swear you’ll not be disappointed.

last but not least, to everyone wondering “where the fuck are the records i ordered one month ago?”:
